The Igloo Tag Trademark is an internationally recognized symbol that denotes handmade, original artwork made by Inuit artists in Canada. Biography

Floyd Kuptana is a prolific Toronto, ON-based artist from Paulatuk (Paulatuuq), NT working in sculpture, painting and collage. He first learned to carve through apprenticing with family members and elder carvers. His work in soapstone often depicts themes of transformation in a playful, humorous manner. Kuptana's work has been exhibited in Canada and internationally, and is held in both private as well as public collections including the Cerny Inuit Collection in Bern, Switzerland and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, ON.View Long Biography and Citations
