Biography

Janet Pitsiulaaq Brewster is a multi-disciplinary artist and activist from Talurjuaq (Spence Bay), NU who is based out of Iqaluit, NU. She began carving at age 11 and works consistently as an artist alongside her other positions. As an activist Brewster has devoted her career to working for community in organizing community-engagement projects as well as northern development and advocacy.
