As an adult, he worked at Mathew Nuqingaq's Aayuraa Studio in Iqaluit as a jewellery artist specializing in baleen, Muskox horn, ivory and silver. He has also made mixed-media sculpture, which has been exhibited at the Nunavut Arts Festival, the Great Northern Arts Festival and the Oceanographic Museum in Monaco.
